This is an exceptionally nice state park. The staff is phenomenal!
Great friendly staff and a wonderful family atmosphere. Plenty of things for kids to do. Educational activities for the kids too.
I really enjoyed the park. It was quiet, the pool was great and there were a lot of trails to hike. My only complaint was that the showers had no water pressure.
They have a great field for star watching and a large frisbee golf course. The trails go along the water and are easy to follow.
It's a great place to take the family. Their cabins are really nice, great tent camping and trailer sites.
The large swimming pool and slide is great family fun, passes for the pool are included if you are camping at the park.
They have Rivers on both sides of the park so plenty of fishing, and a couple of good boat launch locations.
I love going out to the park to see the stars. It's one of the darkest places around, so the view is quite amazing on a clear night. They have a boat landing, campgrounds, swimming pool with a lifeguard, and many picnic areas. Excellent state park!
